Band Saw Operator – 2nd Shift

$18.25/hour starting rate
Quarterly Bonus – 401(k) Plan – Health Coverage – Holiday Pay – Paid Time Off

Shift: Second (Monday – Thursday)

Hours: 40 hours

Full Job Description:

As a Band Saw Operator, you will be responsible for set-up and operation of Band
Saws

  • Set-up, operate and maintain Band Saw equipment
  • Understand specifications to determine machine adjustments
  • Monitor and maintain machine cutting accuracy
  • Work efficiently

Skills:

  • Ability to read drawings
  • Familiarity with raw material
  • Attentiveness
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

General Labor – 1st Shift

Shift Details:

  • First (Monday – Friday) 6am – 3:30pm
  • $15/hour starting rate

Hours:

  • Guaranteed 40+ hours

Responsibilities:

  • Use a steel strapping tool, and a battery powered banding tool for plastic strapping
  • Throw wood runners on to machine
  • Clean work area

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Bending, carrying, climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching , sitting, standing & walking
